§ 3-820 — Duplicate Number Plates

(a)Upon filing in the Office of the Secretary of State an affidavit to the effect that an original number plate for a vehicle is lost or destroyed, a duplicate number plate shall be furnished upon payment of a fee of $6 for each duplicate plate and a fee of $9 for a pair of duplicate plates. Upon filing in the Office of the Secretary of State an affidavit to the effect that an original registration sticker or digital registration sticker for a vehicle is lost or destroyed, a new registration sticker or digital registration sticker shall be furnished upon payment of a fee of $20 for registration stickers or digital registration stickers.
