Text

Application for a certificate of title to a severed manufactured home.

(a)Notwithstanding any other provision of law, where a manufactured home has been affixed to a permanent foundation, and an affidavit of affixation has been recorded as part of the real property records in the county in which the manufactured home is located in accordance with the Conveyance and Encumbrance of Manufactured Homes as Real Property and Severance Act, and where the manufactured home subsequently is detached or severed from the real property, the owner (all, if more than one) of the manufactured home shall, unless exempted by other provisions of this Code, apply for a new certificate of title by filing with the Secretary of State an application for a certificate of title to a manufactured home, to be issued
