(1)General requirements to be prescribed by Commission. Except as otherwise provided in this Section, no intrastate carrier shall operate any motor vehicle upon the public roads of this State unless there is painted or affixed to both sides of the cab or power unit, in accordance with such specifications as the Commission may prescribe, the trade name of the carrier as it appears on the carrier's license or the carrier's recognized logo, together with the license and registration number of the carrier.
