Text
No license shall be required to operate an airport or restricted landing area for which a certificate of approval has been issued by the Department. Provided, However, any city, village or incorporated town, having a population of 500,000 or more may by ordinance license and regulate the establishment of heliports. Such ordinance shall not contain any provision inconsistent with the rules and regulations of the Department then in force relating to the establishment and operation of heliports.
