Text
The Authority is authorized to acquire by purchase or by condemnation, in the manner provided for the exercise of the power of eminent domain under the Eminent Domain Act, any and all lands, buildings, and grounds necessary or convenient for its authorized purpose. The Authority shall comply with the federal Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act, Public Law 91-646, as amended, and the implementing regulations in 49 CFR Part 24 and is authorized to operate a relocation program and to pay relocation costs. If there is a conflict between the provisions of this amendatory Act of 1998 and the provisions of the federal law or regulations, however, the provisions of this amendatory Act of 1998 shall control with the exception that the Authority shall use whichev
