Text
The highway commissioners of the several road districts, in cooperation with the county superintendent of highways of their respective counties, shall select the bridges to be constructed with moneys allocated under Section 6-901. In the selection of bridges, the highest priority shall be given to the safe and expeditious transportation of school pupils. The second priority shall be the movement of agricultural equipment and products; the third priority shall be given rural free delivery mail routes; and, the fourth priority shall be meeting the anticipated traffic needs of the general public.
