§ 6-319

Township and district roads may be laid out, widened, altered or vacated on county or district lines, or from one district to another, and in case a railroad right-of-way or stream of water joins the boundary line of such county or district line, then along the line of such railroad right-of-way or stream of water, in the same manner as other township and district roads, except that in such cases, a copy of the petition shall be posted in and presented to the highway commissioners of each district interested; such petition to be as in other cases, and signed by not less than 5% of the legal voters, or 12 legal voters, whichever is less, residing in the district or county.
