§ 6-132 — Recycling; tree maintenance

(a) A road district may organize, administer, or participate in one or more recycling programs. (b) Notwithstanding any provision of law to the contrary, a road district may deliver wood chips, mulch, and other products generated in the act of tree maintenance by the district to the residents of the district on a first come, first serve basis or other method of random selection. The road district shall provide adequate notice to the resident prior to the product being available and prior to the delivery of the product, which shall include the amount of the product being delivered.
