§ 6-3006 — Resolution

The resolution of the county board authorizing the issuance of bonds shall prescribe the details of the bonds and specify the total amount of the bonds to be issued, the form and denomination of the bonds, the date which they bear, the place they are payable, the date or dates of maturity, which shall not be more than 30 years after the date of the bonds, the rate of interest, which shall not exceed the greater of (i) the maximum rate authorized by the Bond Authorization Act, as amended at the time of the making of the contract, or (ii) 8% per annum, and the dates on which the interest is payable. With respect to instruments for the payment of money issued under this Section or its predecessor either before, on, or after the effective date of Public Act 86-4, it is and always has been the
