§ 3-6040 — Automated external defibrillators

The sheriff of each county shall, in accordance with the requirements of the Automated External Defibrillator Act, ensure that:
(1)his or her office is equipped with an operational and accessible automated external defibrillator that meets the requirements of the Automated External Defibrillator Act; and (2) an adequate number of personnel in his or her office is trained to administer the automated external defibrillator in accordance with the Automated External Defibrillator Act.
