§ 3-5025 — Books

Every recorder shall keep the following books or computer databases: 1. An entry book, in which the recorder shall, immediately on the receipt of any instrument to be recorded or filed, enter, in the order of its reception, the names of the parties thereto, its date, the day of the month, hour and year of receiving the same, and a brief description of the premises, indorsing upon each instrument a number corresponding with the number of such entry.

2.A grantor's index, in which shall be entered the name of each grantor, in alphabetical order, the name of the grantee, date of the instrument, time of receipt, kind of instrument, consideration, the book and page in which it is recorded, or the number under which it is filed, and a brief description of the premises.
