§ 3-5016 — Quarters; office hours

Every recorder shall keep the recorder's office at the courthouse of the county for which the recorder was elected recorder, or in counties of the second or third class in some other suitable building provided at the county seat by the county for which the person was elected and shall keep the office open except as hereinafter provided and attend to the duties thereof in counties of the first and second classes from 8 o'clock A.M. to 5 o'clock P.M. of each working day, except Saturday and Sunday, and in counties of the third class from 9 o'clock A.M. to 5 o'clock P.M. of each working day, except Saturday and Sunday.
