Text
Any person who wilfully or through culpable negligence violates this Division, or any commission, examiner, agent or employee of the commission, or any applicant who wilfully or through culpable negligence violates any rule promulgated under this Division, shall be punished by a fine of not less than $50 nor more than $1,000, or by imprisonment in a penal institution other than the penitentiary for a term not exceeding 6 months, or both. All prosecutions for violations of this Division shall be instituted and conducted by the State's Attorney of the county where the offense occurred. In the case of conviction under this Division, the office or position held by the person convicted shall be considered vacant.
