§ 52 — Review committee

Upon the seventh anniversary of the first date of distribution of State sales tax revenues from the first STAR bond project in the State, a 6-member STAR bonds review committee shall be formed consisting of one appointee of each of the Director, the Director of the Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity, the President of the Senate, the Senate Minority Leader, the Speaker of the House, and the House Minority Leader. The review committee shall evaluate the success of all STAR bond districts then existing in the State and make a determination of the comprehensive economic benefits and detriments of STAR bonds in the State as a whole.
