§ 5-70 — Form and publication of notices

(a)The Secretary of State may prescribe reasonable rules concerning the form of documents to be filed with the Secretary of State and may refuse to accept for filing certified copies that do not comply with the rules. In addition, the Secretary of State shall publish and maintain the Illinois Register and may prescribe reasonable rules setting forth the manner in which agencies shall submit notices required by this Act for publication in the Illinois Register. The Illinois Register shall be published at least once each week on the same day (unless that day is an official State holiday, in which case the Illinois Register shall be published on the next following business day) and sent to subscribers who subscribe for the publication with the Secretary of State.
