Contributions by county for prior service annuities and pensions under former acts.
(a)The county, State or federal contributions authorized in Section 9-169 shall be applied first for the purposes of this Article 9 other than those stated in this Section. The balance of the sum produced from such contributions shall be applied for the following purposes: 1. "An Act to provide for the formation and disbursement of a pension fund in counties having a population of 150,000 or more inhabitants, for the benefit of officers and employees in the service of such counties", approved June 29, 1915, as amended; 2.
