§ 7-167 — Separation benefits - Payment

Separation benefits shall be paid in the form of a single cash sum as soon as practicable after receipt by the board of: 1. a written application by the employee for such benefits; and 2. written notice from the last employing participating municipality or instrumentality thereof or participating instrumentality, certifying that such participating employee has separated from service.
