§ 6-183

To invest the monies of the fund in accordance with the provisions set forth in Sections 1-109, 1-109.1, 1-109.2, 1-110, 1-111, 1-114 and 1-115 of this Act. Investments made in accordance with Section 1-113 shall be deemed prudent. The Board may sell any of the securities belonging to the Fund and borrow money upon such securities as collateral whenever, in its judgment, such action is necessary to meet the cash requirements of the Fund. No bank or savings and loan association shall receive investment funds as permitted by this Section, unless it has complied with the requirements established pursuant to Section 6 of "An Act relating to certain investments of public funds by public agencies", approved July 23, 1943, as now or hereafter amended.
