Text
Prior service annuity, age and service annuity, widow's annuity and widow's prior service annuity shall consist of equal monthly payments for life with the first payment payable one month after the occurrence of the event upon which payment shall depend. Any annuitant may execute a written waiver under oath of his right to receive any part of his annuity, to take effect upon its being filed with the board. The amount waived shall be a permanent reduction in the annuity payable to the annuitant. Nothing in this Section shall be deemed to change or modify the terms and conditions of the reversionary annuity under 5-132.2.
