Text
A vacancy in the office of an appointed or ex-officio member occurring during the session of the General Assembly shall be filled by appointment for the unexpired term in the manner provided in Section 2-127 for the initial selection of such members. A vacancy occurring during the interim recess of the General Assembly shall be filled by the Governor for the unexpired term. An annuitant trustee shall be disqualified to serve as trustee upon removal of his or her permanent residence from the State of Illinois. A vacancy in the office of an annuitant member shall be filled for the unexpired term by the remaining members of the board.
