In the event that an employee is adjudicated to be a person under legal disability by a court having jurisdiction to so determine and a guardian is appointed by a court having jurisdiction so to do, such guardian may, with the approval of the court, execute such documents, including resignations from the service, as may be necessary for the protection and best interests of the employee.
