§ 7a — Discretionary secondary distributor's license

Illinois·Topic GOVERNMENT·Ch. 35 REVENUE·Act 35 ILCS 135/ Cigarette Use Tax Act.

The Department may, in its discretion, upon application, issue a secondary distributor's license to persons who are not required to be licensed as secondary distributors of cigarettes in this State, but who elect to qualify under this Act as secondary distributors of cigarettes. Such secondary distributor shall be issued, without charge, a license to make sales for resale to Illinois retailers, subject to such reasonable requirements as the Department shall prescribe. Each applicant for a license under this Section shall furnish the following information to the Department on a form signed and verified by the applicant under penalty of perjury:

(a)the name and address of the applicant;
(b)the address of the location at which the applicant proposes to engage in business as a secondary dist
