Text
Upon the filing of the tax book, the county collector shall allow the township collector credit for the amount of taxes therein stated to be unpaid, and shall credit the same to the funds for which the tax was charged. When the county collector makes settlement with the county board, those statements shall be sufficient voucher to entitle him or her to credit for the amount therein stated, less such amount, if any, that may have been collected by him or her.
