§ 5A-3 — Exemptions

(a)(Blank).
(b)A hospital provider that is a State agency, a State university, or a county with a population of 3,000,000 or more is exempt from the assessment imposed by Section 5A-2. (b-2) A hospital provider that is a county with a population of less than 3,000,000 or a township, municipality, hospital district, or any other local governmental unit is exempt from the assessment imposed by Section 5A-2.
