Text

For services provided by federally qualified health centers as defined in Section 1905 (l)(2)(B) of the federal Social Security Act, on or after April 1, 1989, and as long as required by federal law, the Illinois Department shall reimburse those health centers for those services according to a prospective cost-reimbursement methodology. On and after July 1, 2012, the Department shall reduce any rate of reimbursement for services or other payments or alter any methodologies authorized by this Code to reduce any rate of reimbursement for services or other payments in accordance with Section 5-5e.
