Text
(a)In this Section, "adversely affected recipient of support" means a person who meets all of the following criteria:
(1)The person is entitled to disbursement of a child support payment from the State Disbursement Unit.
(2)The person either (i) does not receive from the State Disbursement Unit a disbursement of a child support payment to which he or she is entitled or (ii) receives a delayed disbursement of a child support payment from the State Disbursement Unit.
(3)As a result of the nonreceipt of the disbursement of the child support payment or the delayed disbursement of the child support payment, the person receives an adverse rating by a credit reporting agency based, for example, on the person's inability to make a timely payment of an amount owed to another person.
