Text
If a responsible relative refuses, neglects, or fails to comply with a final administrative support or reimbursement order of the Illinois Department entered by the Child and Spouse Support Unit pursuant to Sections 10-11 or 10-11.1 or registered pursuant to Section 10-17.1, the Child and Spouse Support Unit may file suit against the responsible relative or relatives to secure compliance with the administrative order. Suits shall be instituted in the name of the People of the State of Illinois on the relation of the Department of Healthcare and Family Services of the State of Illinois and the spouse or dependent children for whom the support order has been issued.
