Text

(a)If moneys received by a State agency and deposited pursuant to this Act are determined to be subject to refund due to an overpayment or erroneous payment, the Comptroller, upon receipt of such documentation as he may require from the agency making the deposit, shall issue a refund from the fund into which the agency deposited such moneys in accordance with this Section.
(b)Refunds shall be made pursuant to this Section only on behalf of State agencies for which the General Assembly has not enacted a current fiscal year appropriation for refunds and only in an amount not to exceed $10,000 for each such agency for each fiscal year.
