(Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2028) Sec. 9.6. Administration of vaccines and therapeutics by registered pharmacy technicians and student pharmacists.

(a)Under the supervision of an appropriately trained pharmacist, a registered pharmacy technician or student pharmacist may administer COVID-19, respiratory syncytial virus, and influenza vaccines intramuscularly or intranasally as authorized, approved, or licensed by the United States Food and Drug Administration, subject to the following conditions:
(1)the vaccination must be ordered by the supervising pharmacist;
(2)the supervising pharmacist must be readily and immediately available to the immunizing pharmacy technician or student pharmacist;
(3)the pharmacy technician or student pharmacist must complete a practical
