(This Section may contain text from a Public Act with a delayed effective date ) Sec. 8a. Grounds for revocation or refusal to renew license; Department of Early Childhood. The Department of Early Childhood may revoke or refuse to renew the license of any day care center, day care home, or group day care home or refuse to issue full license to the holder of a permit should the licensee or holder of a permit:

(1)fail to maintain standards prescribed and published by the Department of Early Childhood;
(2)violate any of the provisions of the license issued;
(3)furnish or make any misleading or any false statement or report to the Department of Early Childhood;
(4)refuse to submit Department of Early Childhood any reports or refuse to make available Department of Early Childhood any record
