(Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2030) Sec.
73.Inactive status. A person licensed under this Act who notifies the Department in writing on forms or electronically as prescribed by the Department may elect to place the license on inactive status and shall, subject to rule of the Department, be excused from payment of renewal fees until that person notifies the Department, in writing, of that person's desire to resume active status. A person requesting restoration from inactive status shall be required to pay the current renewal fee and shall be required to restore the license as provided by Section 65 of this Act. Practice by an individual whose license is on inactive status shall be considered to be the unlicensed practice of genetic counseling and shall be grounds for disc
