Text
All applicants shall be tested and required to attain a passing grade prescribed by the Department on an examination which evaluates the applicants' general knowledge of the design, installation, operation, maintenance and servicing of on-site waste water disposal systems. Applications for examination shall be in the form prescribed by the Department and shall be accompanied by the required fee determined by the Department. The Department shall conduct written examinations at least 2 times a year and may require a practical demonstration by each applicant. The written examination shall be prepared by the Department. Persons holding a valid license on the effective date of this amendatory Act of 1985 shall be required to pass the written examination by December 31, 1989. A license will not
