(Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2031) Sec. 3D-5. Requisites for ownership or operation of cosmetology, esthetics, hair braiding, and nail technology salons and barber shops.

(a)No person, firm, partnership, limited liability company, professional limited liability company, corporation, or professional service corporation shall own or operate a cosmetology, esthetics, hair braiding, or nail technology salon or barber shop or employ, rent space to, or independently contract with any licensee under this Act without applying on forms provided by the Department for a certificate of registration.
