Text
The Department shall establish standards for licensing secure child care facilities which comply with the requirements of this Act, Section 2-27.1 of the Juvenile Court Act of 1987, applicable requirements of the Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Code, and applicable rules of the Department. On or before January 1, 1999, the Department shall develop rules that set standards and the degree of need for licensed secure facilities. Within 90 days after the effective date of this amendatory Act of 1998, the Director shall appoint an advisory committee to assist the Department in the development of these rules.
