(Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2031) Sec. 2.1. Administration of Act; rules and forms.

(a)The Department shall exercise the powers and duties prescribed by the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois for the administration of licensing Acts and shall exercise such other powers and duties necessary for effectuating the purposes of this Act.

(b)The Secretary may adopt rules consistent with the provisions of this Act for the administration and enforcement of this Act and for the payment of fees connected with this Act and may prescribe forms that shall be issued in connection with this Act. The rules may include, but not be limited to, the standards and criteria for licensure and professional conduct and discipline and the standards and criteria used when determining fitness

The Department may consult with the Board in adopting rules. (c) The Department may, at any time, seek the advice and the expert knowledge of the Board and any member of the Board on any matter relating to the administration of this Act. (d) (Blank).
