§ 195

(Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2028) Sec. 195. Imminent danger to public; temporary suspension. The Secretary may temporarily suspend the license of an acupuncturist without a hearing, simultaneously with the institution of proceedings for a hearing provided for in Section 140 of this Act, if the Secretary finds that evidence in his or her possession indicates that continuation in practice would constitute an imminent danger to the public. In the event that the Secretary temporarily suspends a license without a hearing, a hearing by the Department must be held within 30 days after the suspension has occurred and be concluded without appreciable delay.
