(Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2027) Sec. 11.5. Temporary authorization of practice by persons licensed in other jurisdictions.

(a)The Department, in its discretion, may issue a temporary permit authorizing the rendering of clinical psychological services, as defined in Section 2 of this Act, in this State for up to 10 calendar days per year, consecutively or in aggregate. This temporary permit may be issued to an individual who is licensed in good standing to practice psychology independently and at the doctoral level in another state, province, or territory. Any portion of a calendar day in which the psychologist provides services in this State is considered one working day.
