(Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2027) Sec.
84.Penalties. No person shall act as attorney-in-fact for a reciprocal except in accordance with the provisions of this Article and any person, who violates any of the provisions of this Section or who knowingly participates in or abets such violation shall be guilty of a business offense and shall be required to pay a penalty of not more than one thousand dollars, for each offense, to be recovered in the name of the People of the State of Illinois by the State's Attorney of the county in which the violation occurs, and the penalty so recovered shall be paid into the county treasury.
