Text
No individual or group policy of accident and health insurance shall deny coverage for the removal of breast implants when the removal of the implants is medically necessary treatment for a sickness or injury. This Section does not apply to surgery performed for removal of breast implants that were implanted solely for cosmetic reasons. For the purpose of this Section, cosmetic reasons does not include cosmetic surgery performed as reconstruction resulting from sickness or injury.
