Text
No insurance company authorized to transact business in this State may impose a surcharge upon an applicant for a policy of automobile insurance or refuse to insure the applicant solely based upon the identity of the applicant's prior automobile insurance carrier, unless the applicant fails to provide the company with the applicant's loss experience with the prior carrier within 21 calendar days after the application for automobile insurance is filed.
