Text
Every hospital shall promptly report the death of a person readily known to be, without an investigation by the hospital, a resident of a facility licensed under the ID/DD Community Care Act or the MC/DD Act, to the coroner or medical examiner. The coroner or medical examiner shall promptly respond to the report by accepting or not accepting the body for investigation.
