§ 825-5

Motion Picture Production Program; Findings and Declaration of Policy. It is hereby found and declared that the production of motion pictures has an enormous potential for contributing to the economic well-being of the State and its communities; that a critical mass of movie productions is essential to the continuing viability of this fledgling industry in Illinois; that to achieve this critical mass, a financial inducement to attract movie productions to the State is required; and that the provisions of this Act are hereby declared to be in the public interest and for the public benefit.
