Text
Joint planning by the Department of Human Services and the Department of Children and Family Services. The purpose of this Section is to mandate that joint planning occur between the Department of Children and Family Services and the Department of Human Services to ensure that the 2 agencies coordinate their activities and effectively work together to provide youth in care as defined in Section 4d of the Children and Family Services Act who have developmental disabilities a smooth transition to adult living upon reaching the age of 21. The Department of Children and Family Services and the Department of Human Services shall execute an interagency agreement by January 1, 1998 that outlines the terms of the coordination process.
