Text

(a)The Department of Children and Family Services, the Department of State Police, and the State Board of Education shall jointly develop a sample protocol to be followed by the Department of Children and Family Services, the Department of State Police or a local law enforcement agency, or a school when:
(1)a person or persons are arrested for manufacturing methamphetamine at a place where a child under 18 years of age resides; or (2) the Department of Children and Family Services, the Department of State Police or a local law enforcement agency, or a school has reason to believe that a child under 18 years of age is being exposed to an environment where methamphetamine is manufactured or used.
(b)At a minimum, the protocol developed under this Section must do the following:
