(was 20 ILCS 2705/49.25c) Sec. 2705-410. Access to information. The Secretary may authorize any of the Department's officers, employees, or agents to enter upon, inspect, and examine, at reasonable times and in a reasonable manner, the books, documents, records, equipment, and property of and to request information kept in the ordinary course of business from any railroad to the extent necessary to carry out the powers enumerated in Sections 2705-400 through 2705-445. Railroads operating within the State shall provide access to those books, documents, records, equipment, and property and shall provide the information kept in the ordinary course of business that the Department may request.
