§ 2605-55 — Badges

Illinois·Topic GOVERNMENT·Ch. 20 EXECUTIVE BRANCH·Act 20 ILCS 2605/ Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. (Illinois State Police Law)
The Director must authorize to each State trooper, police officer, and investigator and to any other employee of the Illinois State Police exercising the powers of a peace officer a distinct badge that, on its face, (i) clearly states that the badge is authorized by the Illinois State Police and (ii) contains a unique identifying number. No other badge shall be authorized by the Illinois State Police.
