Text

The powers, duties, rights, and responsibilities related to the State healthcare purchasing functions transferred under this Act are vested in and shall be exercised by the Department to which the applicable function is transferred. Each act done in the exercise of those powers, duties, rights, and responsibilities shall have the same legal effect as if done by the Department of Healthcare and Family Services or its divisions, officers, or employees.
