The Board of Higher Education is authorized to administer an institutional grant program to provide internship opportunities in international business and other international study practica, including overseas study, to students studying foreign languages, international studies, or international business at any public or nonpublic institution of higher education located in Illinois. The Board is authorized to administer and expend privately donated or federal funds that are received by the Board and that are designated to be used for the purposes of this Section. The Board shall administer the program and shall distribute the funds received for this purpose in the form of grants to public and nonpublic institutions of higher education located in Illinois.
