§ 22-8

In municipalities operating under Article 6 of this Act, within 21 days after the close of such election, the board of election commissioners shall open all returns and shall make abstracts or statements of the votes for all offices and questions voted on at the election. Each abstract or statement shall report the returns by precinct or ward. Multiple originals of each of the abstracts or statements shall be prepared and one of each shall be turned over to the chair of the county central committee of each of the then existing established political parties, as defined in Section 10-2.
