Text

The commission shall consist of five (5) members appointed by the governor with the advice and consent of the senate. The term of a member is five (5) years. The terms of members appointed shall expire as designated by the governor at the time of appointment: One (1) at the end of one (1) year; one (1) at the end of two (2) years; one (1) at the end of three (3) years; one (1) at the end of four (4) years; and one (1) at the end of five (5) years. At the end of a term, a member continues to serve until a successor is appointed and qualifies. A member who is appointed after a term has begun serves only for the rest of the term and until a successor is appointed and qualifies.
